Transport Festival - Easter Sunday 1 April 2018
Many thanks to the vehicle owners, volunteers and visitors who made our Easter Sunday Transport Festival happen - another year and another successful event with over 500 visitors, and the best of the weather over the Easter weekend.

A selection of cars and buses from the Museum's collection, along with guest buses and coaches, took to the road for the day, and a healthy number of visiting cars, buses and commercial vehicles were on display around the Museum. Bus services included our traditional Lincoln City Centre service, able to run to Lincoln Railway Station now that the new Transport Hub is open, and also to the Natural World Centre at Whisby and Doddington for Doddington Hall.
Among the vehicle highlights were the return to running order of the Society's 1930 Leyland Badger, which appeared as an unscheduled extra after engine work was completed shortly before the event.
As ever, our grateful thanks to our friends and neighbours around Whisby Road's business community, Siemens at Teal Park and Lindum at Station Road for their usual help with the use of their premises for vehicle parking.
A list of the cars and buses that were on the road can be seen here.
