Many thanks to everyone who came to our Easter Sunday (27 March) Open Day event - a brief report and photos added.
In the weeks before Open Day, some of our members' and Museum vehicles were out and about to publicise the event.
We are most grateful to Asda, North Hykeham; Morrisons, Tritton Road, Lincoln; and Lincoln Business Improvement Group for making this happen.

ONO 59 - Bristol K5G
Work is progressing well in a number of areas including rebuilding the wooden frame around the rear end. The coving panels and lino have been removed from the lower deck and the floor treads cleaned up.
All windows have been removed and the frames prepared for re-fitting with new rubber. Thanks to all members who have helped with this work so far, it's smashing to see some younger members involved with this vehicle.

AFY 376 - Austin 16/6
The radiator has been re-cored and the manifolds and distributor fitted. The body has been trial fitted and it now looks like a car again!
FHN 833 - Bristol L5G
The sliding windows have now been fitted and work very well. This leaves a handful of pieces of wooden trim to be made, and then it's painting time. It's nearly there...

NFW 36V - Bristol VR
The rear saloon floor has been removed so a start can be made on repairing the badly corroded chassis, while progress is being made with repairing the equally rusty offside emergency door. This vehicle will need a lot of work before it is fit to run again, so more help is very welcome.
B503 FFW - Leyland Olympian
Painting has now been completed and a new MOT obtained. Many thanks to Craig who has made a magnificent job of this vehicle. All it really needs now is shot-blasting underneath - any sponsors out there?
DFE 383 - Guy Arab
The steering box is being re-bushed to try and make the steering less heavy.
