Transport Festival - Sunday 5 November 2017
Many thanks to everyone who came to our 'end of season' event on 5 November - especially our members and friends who helped make the event happen, and to the vehicle owners and their colleagues in providing their vehicles and fuel as well as volunteering their services for the day to give our visitors the chance to see, and in many cases to hear and travel on, past generations of our transport history.
As usual, the many vintage and classic cars, buses and coaches on display were joined by many of the buses and cars from the Museum collection, and a variety of guest buses and coaches, on the roads of Lincolnshire for the day. A record 44 buses and 7 cars were on the road carrying passengers, and for the first time in many years, the Society's turntable ladder fire engine performed a number of drive past demonstration runs.

Our thanks also to our neighbours on and around Whisby Road, Siemens at Teal Park and Lindum on Station Road, and Stagecoach in Lincolnshire for their help and support on the day!
